She responded with:
“The FRIENDS OF QUAKER VALLEY SCHOOLS Education Foundation is an organization that makes a difference in peoples’ lives. Its work is often done behind the scenes without great fanfare and is a vital component of what makes our community a special place to live and work.
Not only does it recognize students at all levels from elementary to high school with awards and scholarships, but it recognizes teachers and staff members who work to provide a quality experience and education for Quaker Valley School District students. In addition, there is support for special projects and activities that benefit students.
Being a Trustee for the FRIENDS OF QUAKER VALLEY SCHOOLS Education Foundation will include me as a part of this very special and vital service to the Quaker Valley School District and its impact on our community with its emphasis on educational excellence, student achievement, and continuous growth.”
