Leaf collection starts Oct. 3 in Sewickley Borough and runs through Dec. 2.

Residents are asked to place leaves along the street line, not in the street, which can cause sewer backups and entice children to play on the street.

Leaves should not be mixed with brush, grass and shrubbery clippings. Grass and shrubbery clippings should be bagged for weekly garbage collection. Tree branches must be cut to 4-foot lengths and bundled.

Waste Management will not pick up branches unless they are cut and bundled.
