Barbara Rae McKillen Carson, age 74, of Edgeworth and Sewickley most of her life, passed away on Friday, September 07, 2012 at Masonic Village of Sewickley. She was born in Pittsburgh on April 5, 1938 to the late William and Mary (Baxter) Carson.

Beloved aunt to Matthew Carson, Diane Arndt, Deborah, Denise, and Darlene Carson. Survived by Marie Carson, Martha Carson, Jack Carson, William Carson and Rita Anderson. Preceded in death by cousins Joseph McKillen, Matthew and Harlow Carson. Barbara was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Latrobe, O.E.S. and Amaranth.

She was a 1956 of Sewickley High School, attended Wilson College and University of Pittsburgh obtaining her B.X., Masters both in Pharmacy and some doctoral work.

She had worked at Sewickley Valley Hospital, Medical Center of Beaver County and was Director of Pharmacy at Aliquippa Hospital.

Visitation is Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 from 2-4, 6-9 with Rainbow Service at 7 PM at Copeland's Sewickley, 702 Beaver St. where service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM.

Burial will follow at Allegheny County Memorial Park. Family suggests donations in her name to Make A Wish Foundation.
