Bites Nearby: Buffalo Wild Wings

This week, Patch tries the menu at the Robinson Township branch of this national chain of restaurants.

Buffalo Wild Wings serves up food with a side of fun.

The Robinson sports bar is a great place to go to cheer on the black and gold, yet it’s also family friendly. There are TVs everywhere, so no matter where you’re seated you’ll be able to catch the game or play some trivia.

The place has a full bar and offers numerous domestic, imports, craft and specialty beers. An outdoor patio completes the energetic yet easy-going atmosphere, making it a great place to simply hang out and unwind.

The name says it all — the restaurant is known for its chicken wings. More than a dozen sauces are offered, ranging from the mild sweet barbecue to the blazin’ hot sauce. The wings come in orders of six, 12, 18, 24 and 50 and are priced from $4.99 to $33.99. Tuesday night is wing night at “B-Dubs,” when wings are 45 cents each. On Thursday, boneless wings are 60 cents each.

If you’re not in the mood for wings, the menu offers other options such as salads, sandwiches, flatbreads, burgers and wraps. Appetizers, such as the Ultimate Nachos, Fried Pickles and Slammers cost $4.99 to $8.19. The salads are $7.39 and include the Honey BBQ Chicken Salad and the Asian Zing Chicken Salad. Wraps, such as the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Wrap and the Fish Tacos, start at $7.39.

Buffalo Wild Wings is open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday and from 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday.
