Short-term single-lane closures and traffic shifts will occur during daytime hours.
Expect short-term delays on Interstate 79 for overhead sign safety inspections starting Monday, PennDOT District 11 announced.
The delays will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, weather permitting, in various locations along the entire I-79 corridor in Allegheny County—between Exit 73 Wexford and Exit 48 Southpointe.
The intermittent, short-term single-lane closures and traffic shifts will occur as crews inspect signs.
Motorists should use caution, allow extra time and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area. Visit 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major roadways before traveling.
