Five QV Students Chosen to Perform with Regional Chorus

The students were picked among 300 to participate March 7 to 9 in the regional event.

Five students were selected to the Regional Chorus and will perform March 7 to 9 at Mercer High School before the event culminates with a  7 p.m. concert.

Rebecca Silverstein, Rachel Silverstein, Rachael Houser, Joseph Daval, and Johnathan Roppo have been participating in the PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association) festival competitions. Originally they had been selected to the District Chorus Festival that was held at Elizabeth Forward High. 

They auditioned among 300 students from Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Washington and Westmoreland counties.

Students at the Regional Chorus festival will be competing for a spot in the Pennsylvania All-State Chorus festival.
