Why Go: Enjoy great jazz with complimentary hors d'oeuvres and wine in Sweetwater's intimate night club setting.
Admission: $10 advance and $12 day of event for members and $15 advance and $18 day of event for non-members.
When/Where: 6 to 9 p.m. at Friday, Feb. 15 and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at International Images Ltd., 514 Beaver St.
Why Go: Bring your furry friend to the gallery and enjoy one-of-a-kind animal-friendly artwork. Friday's show begins with hors d'oeuvres, wine and pet treats. On Saturday, the gallery will play host to Animal Friends, which is providing animals for the public to meet. Also enjoy children's arts and crafts.

Why Go: China Palace plans a traditional Chinese lion dance to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
