Why Go: If you haven't seen the locally filmed Katherine Heigl comedy, based on the best-selling novel from Janet Evanovich, here's your chance. No registration is necessary.

Why Go: Bring blankets or lawn chairs to this campfire event and enjoy spooky stories, S'mores and a campfire provided by Party Ants. No cars will be permitted in the parking lot during the program. Ideal for grades 6-12.

When/Where: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17 at Blueberry Hill Park, Franklin Park.
Why Go: Bring a lawn chair or blanket to Blueberry Hill Park and enjoy this PG-rated movie. Movies start at dusk and refreshments will be sold.

4. Third Annual Dog Day Festival
When/Where: 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19 at Hartwood Acres Park Amphitheater.
Why Go: Enjoy demonstrations, activities, contests and pet adoptions. Benefits the Animal Rescue League.

When/Where: 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19 at Hartwood Acres Park Amphitheater.
Why Go: Performances by New Shouts, Joy Ike, The Patti Spadaro Band and Food. The show immediately follows the Dog Day Fest.
