1. Wash-n-Wine at Larry's Laundro'mutt
When/Where: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. tonight at Larry's Laundro'mutt in Sewickely.
Why Go: The Western Pennsylvania Humane Society and Larry's Laundro'mutt will host a Wash-n-Wine event for animal lovers. Dog owners can drop off their favorite furry friend for a bath while enjoying a glass of wine, hot cider and finger foods.
Admission: $10.
When/Where: 6-10 p.m. Saturday at the Sewickley American Legion Post 450 in Sewickely.
Why Go: Get out and enjoy food and live jazz music with the Red Velvet Jazz Band while supporting a historical landmark. Food and fun.

3. Charity Hockey Game at the Island Sports Center
When/Where: 7 p.m. Saturday at the Island Sports Center on Neville Island.
Why Go: The Hanson Brothers from the film Slap Shot will appear in this charity hockey game to benefit Pittsburgh Emergency Medicine Foundation.

4. Leetsdale Fire Department Fish Fry
When/Where: 11 a.m. through the evening at the Leetsdale Fire Department.
Why Go: Pickup Lenton food orders at this event that benefits the local fire department.
Admission: Free. Costs vary per food item.
5. Moon Girls Softball Car Wash
When/Where: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Paradise Lanes on Neville Island.
Why Go: Donations raised from this car wash hosted by Moon Area girls softball players will benefit the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
Admission: Donations accepted.
