Halloween Trick or Treat Rescheduled for Sewickley Communities

Trick or treating is now 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3.

 

Children's trick or treating in the Quaker Valley communities is rescheduled to take place collectively from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Communities include Aleppo, Bell Acres, Edgeworth, Glen Osborne, Glenfield, Haysville, Leet, Leetsdale, Sewickley, Sewickley Heights and Sewickley Hills.

The high winds, heavy rain and potential flooding from the remnants of Hurricane Sandy prompted local police chiefs to postpone trick or treating.

Nearby festivities are also rescheduled to 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in Franklin Park  and in Ohio Township.
