Laughlin Children's Center Unveils Renovations Today

The center is also celebrating 115 years of service to children and families of the region.

Thursday, August 23, 2:30 pm

This afternoon, Laughlin Children's Center of Sewickley is hosting an open house to showcase their recent renovation.

Laughlin Children's Center has provided support services for children and young adults, grades pre-k through high school, for more than 50 years. All services focus on four specific areas/departments: Early childhood, speech, academic and psychology.

The facility's governing board and staff will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:30 p.m. It will feature Mayor Brian Jeffe, Child Health Association President Elisa DiTommaso, St. Stephens' Rev. Geoff Chapman, and the Sewickley Valley Historical Society's Harton Semple.

Refreshments and tours of the campus will be available until 5:00 pm.

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP by calling 412.741.4087.

Sewickley Patch will be at the ribbon cutting and will have a recap of the event online Friday.
