The organizations themselves did not donate , rather the money came from the organizations' PACs, their individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals' immediate families. Organization totals include subsidiaries and affiliates.

I really saddened to see this site stoop to posting a piece like this. This isn't news, it's nothing more than bashing "the other side".

The pejorative nature of the piece speaks volumes about what these "journalists" think about the matter. Is it any wonder why so many people have a negative view of the so-called journalists that write for many news outlets.

What does this story have to do with anything? The NRA has been around for a long time. Many Congressmen/women have been around for a long time. Trying to make a negative implication at this juncture means nothing. This story is as hollow as an empty 50 gallon drum.

What is exactly is the difference between an organization giving money and the organizations PACs giving money?

While this is the time when most of the hate is against anything that has to do with guns. The thing for the political arena is to get on the side of the people that feel that way, while it last and to drive that point home. And as with incidents like this it will fade away. However, because of the circumstances of this shooting it hurts more and they hope to score more political points. So if anything, those trying to score those point should be ridiculed.

So what's your point? Does this make them killers or something? What's wrong with the NRA? How many accepted funds from pro abortion factions?

The answer to the gun issue is simple... There is no answer.

Consider this PLEASE - Alaskans need firearms to protect themselves against wildlife and as a means to a winter food source. Ranchers need firearms to protect their herds against invasive predators. It was the justice department under his administration that came up with the disaster called "Fast and Furious" A failed program to catch Drug Cartels and Drug Runners by tracking firearms. What happeened? They lost thousands of assault weapons to the cartels and smugglers, weapons being used to attack and kill american law enforcement. Gun control he says, huh?

Why would we need a new Gun Law. There are numerous gun laws that have not stopped the killings. It is mental illness that is killing people. The state closed the mental hospital and there will always be mental ill people that should live in a supervised home. It is up o the state to help the mentally ill..Accepting contributions from NRA is not a crime. US Rep. Murphy will always get my vote.
