The Sewickley resident has been elected a shareholder in the Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote law firm.

A Sewickley resident has been elected a shareholder in Dickie McCamey & Chilcote, the law firm announced.

Timothy R. Stevenson of  is based in the firm’s Pittsburgh office, where he concentrates his practice in the area of business torts and commercial litigation with a particular emphasis in construction and surety law.

Stevenson also practices toxic tort law, with an emphasis in the asbestos and silica litigation. He represents manufacturers, suppliers and construction clients in lawsuits involving claims for asbestos and silica exposure.

He has been involved in various phases of in hundreds of cases in southwestern Pennsylvania and throughout West Virginia.

Stevenson is a cum laude graduate of Washington & Jefferson College, with a bachelor of arts in political science. He earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was a staff member of the Pittsburgh Journal of Technology, Law and Policy.

Stevenson is the son of Rebecca Stevenson and the late Robert Stevenson, formerly of West Newton, and a 1996 graduate of .
