Sewickley Police Respond to Public Disturbance

Sewickley police responded to the following recent incidents. Each incident reflects police records and is not an indication of guilt.

 

Disturbance report 

Police were called at 3:12 a.m. Saturday to Heritage Valley Sewickley hospital for an argument outside the emergency room.

Police said the arguing was over when officers arrived.

One of the people had been assaulted in Ambridge and had already reported the matter to the Ambridge police.

Tree hazard

Traffic was closed off at 1:15 p.m. Sunday to Davis Lane in Glen Osborne after a large tree fell across the road, causing a hazard. Police taped off the road and firefighters secured the area until Duquesne Light Co. workers arrived.

Missing phone

Police said someone reported a cell phone that was either lost or stolen Thursday, March 7 from Starbucks. The phone is described as a black iPhone 4S with a black waterproof case.

Police Assist

Police were called at 1:30 a.m. March 6 to the hospital to assist the Beaver County sheriff’s office in serving an arrest warrant on a 15-year-old Ambridge boy.
