Quaker Valley boys basketball team played a hard-fought game Wednesday night before falling to section rival Beaver Falls.
The boys were defeated, 55-45, in the Western PIAA Class AA semifinal game at Ambridge Area High School.
The Quakers, who had lost twice to the Tigers this season, led Beaver Falls for most of Wednesday's game Wednesday and were up by six points at halftime.
