Quakers Valley rallied a good comeback Friday night after being down 27-6 against the Steel Valley Ironmen at half-time.
Dane Jackson ran 33 yards for a touchdown and Chris Conlan caught a pass from Burke Moser for a two-point conversion, bringing the score to 27-14. In the end, it was a matter of 4 points.
The Quakers lost Friday's home conference football game to Steel Valley by a score of 40-36. The Quakers are now 2-3.
Next week, the team goes away to take on South Fayette at 7 p.m. Oct. 5
