Reminder: Route 65 Improvement Work Begins Tonight

Beginning tonight, traffic will be down to a single-lane in each direction from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., according to PennDOT.

Starting tonight, PennDOT plans to begin work to improve Route 65/Ohio River Boulevard between Sewickley and Ambridge, Beaver County.

Weather permitting, the work will continue through Saturday, Sept. 8, PennDOT said Tuesday in a news release.

Crews will be removing guiderail, milling and resurfacing Route 65 from Chestnut Street in Sewickley to Ambridge.

To minimize impacts on the motorists, PennDOT said single-lane traffic in each direction will occur from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday nights.
