Robert "Rob" Karasek Jr., 43, passed away suddenly Nov. 18, 2012 at his Sewickley residence.

Born in Pittsburgh Nov. 4, 1969 to Robert and Lil Faytik Karasek Sr. of Sewickley, Rob was employed by Lane Steel and a 1987 graduate of Linsley High School in West Virginia. He was was also a proud member for 20 years with the Cochran Hose Fire Co. in Sewickley.

Besides his parents, Rob is survived by his wife Bryony O'Connor Karasek and his three children; Connor Craig, Eleanor Rose and Megan Lily Karasek all of England. 

Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, when a Blessing Service will be held at 2 p.m. in the Copeland Sewickley Funeral Home, 702 Beaver St. followed by interment in Sewickley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name to the Cochran Hose Company will be appreciated.
