Quaker Valley, Sewickley Academy Issue Two-Hour Delay for Wednesday
For the second day in a row, the academy will start classes later than usual.
Sewickley Academy has issued a two-hour delay for Wednesday due to the extremely cold temperatures.
Quaker Valley School District also has announced a two-hour delay for Wednesday for all buildings.
Local schools were also on a two-hour delay Tuesday due to the frigid weather.
A wind-chill advisory issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect until 11 a.m. Wednesday. Temperatures also will be in the single digits to close to zero Wednesday morning, according to weather service.
