Rita Crawford, head of the children's department at the Sewickley Public Library, helps children to learn while having fun.

Usually the Village People offers a closer look at one person who is having a positive effect on our diverse community.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and in this village the is a huge resource.

Its Children’s Department is devoted to offering a variety of programs aimed at helping our children learn while having fun. This is a big job, and it takes a dozen people to do the work. That is why this week we are focusing on "Village People."
