Subway Offers $2 Sandwiches in December
The sandwich chain says it's one-upping its own deal with six-inch sandwiches for just two bucks all month.
And you thought $5 was a steal for a Subway sandwich.
The national chain announced that it will offer cold-cut and meatball six-inch subs for just $2 in December, throughout the end of the year, according to the website.
Other major food chains have set the trend of offering two-buck menu items, including Taco Bell and Chipotle, but this is the first sandwich joint to enter the playing field.
Subway had previously set a new price point for many of its sandwiches, offering them for $5. But they've cut that by more than half in a traditionally slow month for fast food sales.
