For the ghouls, goblins, princesses and superheros who came knocking on the door, at least one fluffy Halloween tradition remained a constant this year.

The Powells on Meadow Lane in Edgeworth have rented a cotton candy machine every year for the past 12 years.

They usually give out an estimated 400 bags of cotton candy, but because of the rain this year, the family said they gave out about 300 bags.
