Q. Is there a way to stop recieving junk mail ?  

A.   I can't promise you that the junk mail will stop completely but you can take steps to cut down the stream.

-To stop unsolicited direct mail: go to www.dmachoice.org to register your address.

-To stop prescreened offers from credit card companies, you have two choices: you can opt out from receiving the offers for 5 years or permanently.  Register your request at http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre17.shtm 

Allow 30 days for your request to be processed.
