More About Y M C A
With a mission "to build a healthy spirit, mind and body based on Christian principles and to improve the quality of life for children, individuals, and families," the Sewickley YMCA has served the surrounding community since the early 1900s. The building has grown from a gymnasium and small pool to a facility with two pools, two Nautilus circuits, a free weight center, locker rooms, a whirlpool, sauna and steam room, three racquetball courts, one sports court, two tennis courts, three platform tennis courts, three gymnasiums and an indoor track. Recent additions include a café, sprinkler water park, rock climbing center, a platform tennis complex, a specialized exercise area and an expanded senior area. For parents, the Y offers full-day child care and babysitting while you work out.
