Brave American 5K Race & 1 Mile Walk
Rob Veltre, a junior at Quaker Valley High School, is organizing the Brave American 5K Race/1 Mile walk to benefit the Boulder Crest Retreat for Wounded Warriors (www.bouldercrestretreat.org) which seeks to provide a safe, rural, therapeutic environment for severely wounded warriors and their families to gain relief and to reconnect during their long term outpatient care at the DC-area medical hospitals. The Retreat is truly a one of a kind facility, which is dearly needed to help combat the severe shock many wounded undergo upon their return to our nation. Pennsylvania is home to the 4th largest population of veterans in the US.

Recent additions include a café, sprinkler water park, rock climbing center, a platform tennis complex, a specialized exercise area and an expanded senior area.
