Animal Friends presents: Fountain!

Several years ago we met Fountain for the first time. She came from a hoarding situation; a home with too many cats for one person to take care of. Cats from those homes are generally shy. One person just can't give them the attention they need.

Fountain was adopted two years ago. She went to a wonderful home with three other cats and a bunny. She loved the bunny! She also got along with two of the cats. But for some reason she and one of the male cats just could not get along. Her new family gave it the old college try, but there was a personality conflict. Apparently, it happens with all species.

Fountain is back at Animal Friends looking for another home. We're suggesting fewer pets in the next home. She likes other cats, so a few less should keep things calm. Since she's shy, we do suggest she live with a nice, outgoing cat or go solo if her new person is cat savvy and patient.

Fountain uses her litter box without fail, has never bitten anybody, and loves to play. She likes to run around the house chasing a toy or a laser bug (or another cat). She uses a scratching post and likes catnip. She's an affectionate girl who carries her little catnip pillows around the house.

If you've got a quiet home for a shy, lovable cat, come on down to meet her!

19.43 Adoption Special!
Celebrate Animal Friends' 70th Anniversary
Animal Friends was founded in 1943, at the height of World War II, by a group of Pittsburgh citizens that were concerned for the well-being of soldier's pets when they left to serve in the war. To celebrate our 70th anniversary, all adoption donations for animals 6 months and older are being reduced to $19.43!  Come meet your new best friend from July 12 - July 31!
