Jazzpurr is a handsome young cat. Now some of you may snicker when we call a 7-year-old cat "young," but the average lifespan of a cat is about 16 years, and it's not at all unusual for a cat to live 20 years. So, at only 7 years old, Jazzpurr is a handsome young guy!
Jazzpurr is declawed on all four feet. Animal Friends doesn't declaw, but Jazz came to us that way. For those of you with a lease that requires a declawed cat, he could be perfect!
Jazz is just a really nice cat. He loves a good lap but will also play with a teaser toy. Since he's 7, he has settled down. He's not a kitten who will awaken you at 4 a.m. knocking everything off your dresser. He's not a lunatic who will tangle himself between your feet and trip you going down the steps. He's past the teething stage and won't chew your shoe laces.
He'll play, but not for hours at a time. He'll give you a break with that laser bug and take a nap with you. He'll sit on the couch and intently watch TV. He does have one request in that area. He'd like you to buy the movie "All That Jazz." (It's his personal favorite. He's also a fan of a little Wes Montgomery jazz guitar. It makes him PURRRR.)
So if you have a TV, a couch and a spot for a jazz fan in your home, this guy could be the one you've been looking for. If you'd like to hear the Jazz Purr, come on down to the PETCO in Bethel Park!
