Animal Friends Presents: Liberty!

Check back every week for more adoptable, adorable animals from Animal Friends!

This beautiful girl is Liberty (Libby for short). Liberty is a 2-year-old Spitz mixed with Jack Russell Terrier. She had a rough start to life but has made great improvement since coming to Animal Friends during our annual Liberation Day Rescue.

Thanks to her time in foster care, she has progressed tremendously. While she used to shy away from being touched, Libby now longs to be a loving member of a family.

Libby can still be a little nervous around new people and will take time to come out of her shell. But once she does, get ready! She becomes a totally different dog; she is very playful, attentive, sassy and happy!

Libby needs to go to a home without children. She would benefit tremendously from the company of a playful, sociable dog who is a bit bigger than her. This will help her adjust to her new home and will also give her a friend to play with!

Libby needs an adopter that is knowledgeable and comfortable with a fearful dog. She is very much worth the effort and will quickly work her way into your heart.
