Animal Friends Presents: Magellan!

Check back each week for more adoptable, adorable animals from Animal Friends!

Magellan is just about the nicest cat you'd ever want to meet. He'll be the first to greet you in Animal Friends' cat adoption area with a purr and a smile. Well, we think he's smiling.

Magellan was owned by a loving family for 10 years. When the family dynamic changed, he was brought to Animal Friends.

You might notice Magellan's ears have a funny look to them. We're pretty sure those flat-tops are from some long-ago winter. He doesn't seem to mind them one bit, and we think they make him look even cuter.

Magellan loves to be petted and enjoys a good lap sit as well. He will knead you all afternoon if you let him. Have you ever known a cat to get so happy that he drools? Well, Magellan does. It's kind of adorable if you don't mind a little moisture!

Magellan has lived with other cats and dogs. We're pretty sure he'd be okay living with most kids as well. He currently lives with several other cats in a special diet room. Magellan eats a specific food that we'll be happy to provide you with at-cost. This will save you a lot of headache in the pet-food aisle!

If you'd like to meet Magellan, please fill out at application online or at the adoption desk. He can't wait to meet you!
