Animal Friends Presents: Stars

Check back every week for more adoptable, adorable animals from Animal Friends!

This is Stars, and she came to Animal Friends during our Liberation Day Rescue. She loves to give kisses and likes to be around people. She walks very well on a leash and will even reach up to give your hand a kiss or two, as if to say “Thanks for the walk!”

She loves to play and makes cute little growly, grunting noises while playing. She enjoys the company of other dogs, but she is not a big fan of cats.

Stars is protective of her rawhides and toys. We have worked with her closely on this and feel that this behavior can be managed. Stars will need to go to a home with no young children because they might not understand how to act around her when she has a favorite toy. She is willing to trade up for an awesome treat if you want to take a toy from her.

Stars has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. If you can help, come to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 or call 412.847.7002. You can also start your application online, so get started by clicking here!
