Animal Friends Presents: The Z Cats!

Check back every week for more adoptable, adorable animals from Animal Friends!

Z is for Zedekiah and several other cats whose names begin with Z. Animal Friends' Humane Officers rescued them in 2010.

Poor little Zedekiah was so afraid of people that it took two years for him to become comfortable with them. Now, Zedekiah has decided that he actually loves people and has become a lap cat! He loves to hear a volunteer call, “Zeddy!” and pat their lap. That’s his cue to jump up and take in as much affection as he can.

Zoraya loves attention and is always eager to make friends. With his signature look of sleepy eyes and white markings that extend to all four paws, this memorable boy has lots of energy and loves to explore, especially by climbing. When he’s not busy playing, he solicits plenty of attention. Zoraya loves to be petted and rolls around taking it all in!

Zeta is a shy but talkative boy. He also enjoys being petted and purrs for affection. His meows usually mean that he wants someone to spend some time with him and offer comfort. He is very curious and loves to explore his surroundings, especially if there are other cats around! If you have a cat who needs a buddy, Zeta would be a great addition to your home. Zeta does best with outgoing, friendly cats who can help him come out of his shell.

The Z cats are looking for calm, quiet homes where their new owners will patiently give them time to acclimate to their new surroundings. Come meet the Z cats and learn why the volunteers have fallen in love with them!
