Dinosaur Fossils found at Ross Park Mall

The floors of Ross Park Mall are made from Solnhofen limestone, an ancient stone with fossils entombed from the Jurassic age. So next time you’re visiting the Mall, stop by Simon Guest Services and put your kids’ paleontology skills to the test. 

Pick up a JuROSSic Park Mall worksheet from Simon Guest Services and then hunt for examples of six different types of fossils – ammonite, belemnite, trace fossil, sponge, algae, and worm. Snap a picture of each fossil as you find it during your exploration.
