Albino Deer Draws Attention in Sewickley Heights

The rare deer has been spotted frolicking in the local wild.

An albino deer is drawing a lot of attention in Sewickley Heights. 

Patch reader John Burgh spotted the deer roaming in the woods off Blackburn Road and uploaded a photo in November to Patch's Pics & Clips gallery

The deer is still on the move. On Tuesday, according to KDKA, a mailman also saw an albino deer near Blackburn while making the rounds.

Albino deer are rare, occurring about once in every 30,000 births, according to facts about deer.net
