Amphibians of the Night

Join Naturalist, April Claus at Fern Hollow Nature Center to learn about everyone’s favorite 4-legged amphibians:  SALAMANDERS, TOADS, AND FROGS!  We will start at Fern Hollow Nature Center with a short program.  Followed by a chance to get up close and personal with different amphibians.  Then the group will venture over to Sewickley Heights Borough Park for a night hike to a vernal pond to listen for frog calls and look for amphibian egg masses.  SPACE IS LIMITED, CONTACT APRIL CLAUS AT 412-741-7536 TO RESERVE A SPOT.  Don’t forget your boots… this one will be muddy!
