When/Where: 8 p.m. Friday at 803 Liberty Ave. Pittsburgh

Why/Go: The Pittsburgh Ballet performs their version of this romantic comedy featuring an unlikely love triangle. 

Admission: $22.75

 

Amphibians of the Night

When/Where: 7-9 p.m. Saturday at , Sewickley Heights. 

Why Go: Learn more about salamandars, toads and frogs then get up close and personal with them. The group will then venture over to Sewickley Heights Borough Park for a night hike to a vernal pond to listen for frog calls and look for amphibian egg masses. 

Admission: $5-$15 members/$10-$25 non-members. Don't forget your boots!

 

RMU softball hosts 'Beat Cancer with a Bat'

When/Where: 1 p.m. Saturday at the RMU North Athletic Complex. 

Why Go:  softball team will host a game benefiting the National Foundation for Cancer Research. "Beat Cancer with a Bat" takes place at 1 p.m. Saturday. The team will take on Bryant University and admissions will be donated to cancer research. Interested patrons can also make donations here

When/Where: 5:30 p.m. tonight at  auditorium.

Why Go? Catch a glimpse of students and their prom fashion at the annual fete.

When/Where: 7:30 p.m. tonight at 1965 Ferguson Road, Allison Park, PA

Why Go: The St. Paul Players and the Music Ministry present this musical tribute to the legendary country singer.
