Why Go: Direct from Broadway, the weird and wonderful Addams Family comes to devilishly delightful life in this macabre new musical comedy.

We Bought A Zoo 

When/Where: dusk Friday, Aug. 3 in Blueberry Hill Park, Franklin Park

Why Go: Bring a lawn chair or beach blanket to the park football fields and enjoy the PG-rated movie "We Bought a Zoo." Refreshments will be sold.

Admission: Free.

 

North Fayette Community Days

When/Where: 6-11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3 and 3-11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 at Donaldson Community Park, North Fayette. 

Why Go: Enjoy the sounds today of the West Allegheny Marching Band, along with Joe Grushecky & The Houserockers and Donnie Iris. Don't miss the sky divers and free swimming and games at Hankey Farms pool. The fun continues Saturday with the West Hills Symphonic Band, Souther Detour and Sweaty Betty. The event ends with 10 p.m. fireworks by Pyrotechnico.

Own the Night Masquerade Ball

When/Where: 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 at .

Why Go: Celebrate the end of summer reading and Own the Night at this after-hours dance party. The DJ will play requested songs while you dance under the glowing globe lights, decorate masks, eat luminescent cupcakes and take pictures with friends. This program is for teens going into grades 6-12.

When/Where: 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5 at Henle Park, .

Why Go: Enjoy an evening of free country music with Bob Ford and the Band and other opening acts. Refreshments will be available from 5-8 p.m. at the concession stand with proceeds benefitting the Leetsdale Fourth of July Committee. 

Admission: Free.

 

When/Where: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3 and Saturday, Aug. 4 at .

Why Go: The annual Carpatho-Rusyn event celebrates culture with food, dancing, arts, demonstrations and displays.
