Why go: Come cheer on Pittsburgh’s newly formed arena football team as it takes on the Iowa Barnstormers.

Where/When: Carnegie Science Center, 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday March 19.
Why Go: The event is a fundraiser for the UPMC Health for Life Summer Camp in Braddock. There will be entertainment for the whole family.
Pricing: $100 for adults, $40 for children.
4. Pittsburgh Emergency Medicine Foundation Pucks and Sticks Hockey Game
Where/When: Robert Morris University Island Sports Center, 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday March 19.
Why Go: The event raises money for emergency medicine education and research.
Pricing: Tickets are $10 each.
Where/When: 7 p.m. Friday March 18, August Wilson Center in Pittsburgh.
Why Go: The young vocal phemon is a product of Pittsburgh and will be presenting an all-ages show.
Pricing: Tickets are $10.
