Win $100,000 With Patch's 'Deck the House' Contest

Are you planning to decorate your home for the holidays? If so, you could win a hefty prize for our schools!

Does your house outshine the others in your neighborhood when it comes to holiday decorations?

If the answer is yes, starting Dec. 8, you can enter Patch's Deck the House Contest for a chance to win $100,000 for the local public school system, $500 toward your electric bill or bragging rights in your neighborhood.

The contest will run until Dec. 26 and users will vote for the best-decked house in their town. From there, Patch judges will select 24 finalists nationwide, who will get their December electric bill paid by Patch (up to $500).

The grand prize winner will recieve a $100,000 donation to their local school system.

In other decoration contest news, the is hosting the Holiday House Decorating Contest again for borough residences this year.

The club is asking residents to turn on their holiday lights and outdoor decorations the nights of Saturday, Dec. 10 and Sunday, Dec. 11. Contest winners will be notified Thursday evening Dec. 15. Three prizes will be awarded.
