Laughlin Psychologist to Present Free Workshops on Challenges Related to Temperament

Sessions are Wednesday, Oct. 17 and Thursday, Oct. 25 at Laughlin Children's Center and are free and open to the public.

Two free workshops for parents and caregivers are being offered this month at Laughlin Children's Center in Sewickley.

Laughlin Children’s Center psychologist Dr. Lenore Melmeyer will offer the two sessions aimed at providing parents with strategies on finessing the difficulties that differences in temperament can sometimes cause among siblings or between a parent and child.

Participants will learn how each person’s individual temperament affects all sorts of behaviors, from how active we are, to our moods, to our sensitivity threshold.
