North Allegheny Patch is Coming to Your Neighborhood!

The site will features news, events, blogs and, of course, you.

Our Patch is growing—right into northern Allegheny County.

We are excited to announce the launch of North Allegheny Patch this month.

Like other Pittsburgh-area Patch sites, including neighboring Cranberry Patch, Pine-Richland Patch, Sewickley Patch and North Hills Patch, North Allegheny Patch aims to make life ridiculously easy for you—call us your one-stop shop for everything in your neighborhood!

North Allegheny Patch will offer news, information, blogs, conversation with others in your community, a directory of businesses, a calendar of local events and more. We are interactive, and we encourage—and make it easy—for you to post an announcement, a comment, a review or photo from an event you've attended or a blog on the site.

Western Pennsylvania's newest Patch will focus on the Town of McCandless, Marshall Township, Franklin Park and Bradford Woods. You can find us live Sept. 27 at http://northallegheny.patch.com.

We want to hear from you—and we want you to get to know us.

Until the site is launched, keep up with North Allegheny Patch on our Facebook page (like us by clicking here) and our Twitter account (follow us here). Tell your friends, too!

Sign up in advance for the free North Allegheny Patch newsletter, sent daily to your inbox or smart phone, by entering your email address in the space provided at the top of this article. You will start receiving the newsletter Sept. 27.

Experienced Patch Local Editors Rich Cook, Cindy Micco, Jessica Sinichak and Larissa Dudkiewicz will oversee North Allegheny Patch.

If there’s something you’d like to tell us about the area, have a news tip, or just want to say “hi,” shoot an email to us at NorthAllegheny@patch.com. We look forward to hearing from you.

So what are you waiting for? Join the conversation today!

Will you be covering township and school district meetings?
Cindy Cusic Micco September 07, 2012 at 08:57 PM
We will report on some township and school district meetings, but not all of them. We strongly encourage people in the community to blog for North Allegheny Patch and to post their events on the website too.
