Portion of Beaver Street to Close Today in Sewickley
A small section of Beaver Street will close this afternoon.
Sewickley motorists will have to contend with another local road closure as crews continue work on the multi-community sewer interconnect project.
According to Sewickley police, a small portion of Beaver Street will close this afternoon in front of the Hyde Travel Service between Straight Street and the edge of Logan Street.
The two-day closure is expected to last through Thursday while crews pressure test pipe.
Police said road closed signs will be posted and enforced. Police warn that motorists who fail to obey posted signs will be cited. State law allows for fines of up to $250.
