Sewickley Heights Manor Homes Association Conducts Its First "Shout- Out" Poll

Who doesn’t appreciate a nice “shout- out?”

The Sewickley Heights Manor Homes Association conducted a quick, informal “Shout-Out” poll in which it asked the residents to vote for their favorites – favorite restaurants, favorite shopping stops and best places to have fun.

“We started a website for our neighborhood and are trying to drive people there with fun things,” said resident Matt Dobler, who brought the poll to our attention.

Dobler, who lives in the neighborhood with his wife, Katie, said around 790 people live in approximately 310 townhouses and single-family homes in the neighborhood.

It wasn’t a scientific poll, and the results are to be used to find some fun places that you may never have stopped into before or have wanted to try.

“Shout- Out” also included a raffle of a $50 gift certificate to the winner’s favorite restaurant. Carla Calisin, the lucky winner, will go to her own favorite restaurant, .

This isn’t the first official poll for the SHMHA.

 “We had a ‘Best Dog Picture’ contest a few months ago,” said Dobler.
