All American Art

Ages 11-15

Jackson Pollock, Thomas Eakins, Andy Warhol, Edward Hopper, Georgia O’Keefe are all examples of pivotal American artists. In this camp, we’ll learn about their lives and work, learning about the development of a distinctive American vision in art from the 17th century through the contemporary era. Discuss how art has changed and study new and interesting drawing and painting techniques. Campers will put what they learn to the test as they reproduce three famous artworks. Materials fee is included in the tuition.
