Beginning Musicians

Meets 1:00 PM-2:00 PM at the Sweetwater Center for the Arts in Sewickley, PA.

Level: Ages 3-5 with an adult

Students will be
exposed to different music groups in this FREE Saturday afternoon class. Each
week will focus on a specific instrument and musical activities. The class will
start with a demonstration from Quaker Valley High School musicians and then
students will make craft instruments. The goal of this class is to introduce
young children to various types of musical instruments and excite their
interest!

Instructor -- Mericka
McCabe


Mericka McCabe is a Quaker Valley High School senior.
She is an active member of the chorus and musical at QV. She is also a Girl
Scout and is teaching this workshop series in order to earn her Girl Scout Gold
Award.
