Girls' Night Out: Wintry White Paintings

Take a break from the busy world and come to Sweetwater Center for the Arts for a girls’ night out! Spend some time with friends creating beautiful art projects in a fun and relaxing environment. Sweetwater is continuing its popular Girls’ Night Out series with Wintry White Paintings! Celebrate the joys of cool, crisp snow by creating a mixed media painting in which white is the predominate color. You’ll learn how to mix delicate variations of white acrylic paint and how to capture the beauty of sparkling snow crystals by incorporating glossy and pearlescent painting mediums. This limited color palette will give you great freedom to experiment with various textural materials and mediums including modeling paste, gauze, netting, lace and cardboard. Come prepared to get messy and to have fun! All materials provided; materials fee is included in the tuition. This is a BYOB event. Feel free to bring wine and snacks!  Girls’ Night out classes are for students who are 21 and older. Call to register.
