Guitar Group

Guitar Group - MU13   Ages 12 & up
Music should be fun. We “play” music, not “work” music. Guitar Group is designed to make learning guitar fun and easy! Geared toward the individual who has a guitar sitting in the house collecting dust, who wants to learn but is hesitant because it seems too hard, Guitar Group is the perfect start course. We’ll learn to play popular songs from the past fifty years that can be shared with family and friends at family gatherings or around the campfire. Along the way, students will be introduced to basic music theory, tablature reading and chord formation. Students should bring a ¾ size or larger acoustic or electric guitar, a capo, a wire music stand, a tuner, extra strings and a desire to play.
