Melodia Musical Theater Workshop Auditions

Sweetwater Center for the Arts is now enrolling for Melodia Musical Theater Workshop for children entering grades 2-6 in the fall from July 18–22 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. 

This intensive summer camp experience will introduce campers to creative dramatics, scene study, dance and basic vocal techniques in an age-appropriate way. They will work together and interact in scenes, musical numbers and dances. There will also be opportunities to work behind the scenes with set design and production.

Auditions will be held on July 16 from 9 a.m. –12 p.m. Camp begins on July 18 at Sweetwater. Campers will meet from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. each day through July 22. Students with solo performances may be required to arrive early or stay late for additional rehearsals. Parents will be notified of any changes to the schedule. The performance will be held at Sweetwater on July 23 from 1–11:30 a.m. There will be a post-performance celebration with refreshments following the show.
