QVHS Stages Cabaret
Quaker Valley High School will stage a cabaret on Saturday, March 12, in the high school auditorium. Proceeds will benefit the high school musical —sets, costumes, and expenses.
The cabaret evening includes acts performed by many of the members of the cast of this year’s musical, “Crazy for You.”
Some of the acts include senior Johnny Falconi singing “If Ever I Would Leave You” from the musical “Camelot”, freshman Katie Manuel and sophomore Solange Fairlie singing “Poker Face” by Lady Gaga, sophomores Mericka McCabeand and Kara Montanile along with junior Emily Tusick, singing and playing “Mama Mia” on the ukulele, and much more.
The musical “Crazy for You,” known for its popular George Gershwin tunes, will be performed Thursday through Saturday, March 31 – April 2nd with a senior citizen rehearsal performance on March 30th. Rehearsals are underway with director Lou Valenzi and Matt Boice, musical director.
