Root Beer Tasting

Village Candy will be conducting another in its unique soda tasting series, this time reverting to its most popular passion, Root Beer. The tasting will be held Saturday, April 21, from 5:30 to 6:30. As always, this event is free and open to the public, but you must email rootbeer@villagecandy.com to register. Root Beer has consistently been the favorite varietal among the customers of Village Candy’s extensive soda pop offering that numbers over 150 individual kinds. Each of their past Root Beer tastings have drawn over 200 participants, and this one should once again be a hit. Some of their current new brews include Bundaberg from Australia, Crater Lake from Oregon, Waialua from Hawaii and Dang Butterscotch Root Beer. This is one of the best ways to easily compare multiple brands of one of America’s favorite soft drinks. Village Candy is an old-time, new-fangled retail shop specializing in a unique selection of retro bulk and novelty candy, artisan chocolates, glass-bottled pop and candy-themed gifts.
