Movie Filmed in Sewickley Debuts Tuesday

Did you see actress Kristen Bell when she was in town?

The Sewickley-shot film The Lifeguard is available OnDemand and on iTunes on Tuesday, July 30.

A limited theatrical run begins Aug. 30.

The independent romance movie was shot in town in the summer of 2012. It features Kristen Bell and Martin Starr.

In the movie, Bell's character quits her reporting job and returns to her childhood home where she gets a job as a lifeguard and starts a dangerous relationship with a troubled teenager.
